20 years from now
Lots of people have commented that my blog is full of emo, sad, depressing, "omg my life sucks!!! leave Britney alone!@@~!!!" type posts, which is well- to use a phrase all history students are familiar which- true to a large extent. Seriously though, I feel like posting when I feel sad, so obviously all my post will be sad. However, since I'd rather not give people the impression that I desperately need to see a therapist, I shall blog about something of a somewhat happier nature.
I find it rather amazing that I'm eighteen actually considering the fact that it seems like thirteen was only a few years ago but it has recently struck me that five whole years is a heck of a long time. By Sim standards, I'm practically a young adult, gearing up to go to Sims University with strange streakers and weird townies that pop by your sims house everyday uninvited (Really! There is this strange NPC in sims university that wears the llama mascot costume and visits my sims everyday). I have to make a decision about my future sooner than I want to and well I guess I had better start thinking about it now.
Then I realised that I actually have a pretty easy choice. Having been to Tai Tai High School (which is surprisingly not TTHS but rather SCGS) for a good part of my life, ten years to be exact, I should be more than able to grow up to be a Tai Tai! Of course, I have also been learning Chinese for more than ten years (and we all know where that got me...) so I might need to think a bit more on the whole situation.

Looks like its back to the drawing board.

Tai Tai Tick List (TTTL)
- Plays Mahjong - I don't quite qualify for this part and those that have tried to teach me the game can attest to that fact. Frankly, apart from shouting "PONG!!" at random times, I have no idea what to do with the tiles except how to keep them back in their box. While I do a pretty smashing job of keeping them, I highly doubt my other TT Kahkees will be very impressed with my inability to play (on the flip side, I would probably lose every round which would make me an excellent person to play with).
- Can spend copious amounts of money - Need you even ask?
- Paints nails red and shops at Tangs - For some strange reason I always picture TT as painting their nails red while shopping at Tangs. This, I think is pretty unfounded because EVERYONE knows that only Rouge from YSL is an appropriate nail colour and that TTs don't shop in Tangs but buy the whole place and then pick the items they want in the comfort of their bungalows.
- Wears cheong sam - I also picture TT's wearing them when they aren't wearing Versace or whatever else people with money wear. Of course, since I can't even write the word out in Chinese, I think this is a pretty moot point.
- Have a rich husband - The last time I checked, I wasn't betrothed to the Andrea Casiraghi (third in line to the throne of Monaco and pretty hot).
Looks like its back to the drawing board.
